Conveniently located at 3345 Lexington Road in the heart of St. Matthews, Louisville, KY, Holy Spirit parish is the perfect location for this FREE event that aims to equip men young and old to find financial freedom and peace using Catholic principles and strategies.

Phil Lenahan, and his wife Chelsey are both Southern California natives. Phil grew up in Orange County when it was truly known for its orange groves. He attended Catholic schools through high school before obtaining his accounting degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1983. Phil interviewed with what then were a number of the Big Eight accounting firms, and accepted a position with the now infamous accounting firm of Arthur Andersen and Co. Phil’s experiences and training were good at Arthur Andersen, but after about five years with the firm, he decided to pursue a path that provided for a more balanced family life. In 1987, Phil joined the financial ranks of Fleetwood Enterprises, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of recreational vehicles and manufactured housing. Phil spent about eight years with Fleetwood in various financial roles. This was also a time when his family continued to grow. In 1995, Phil received a call about a need for a financial person at Catholic Answers, the apologetics organization. After talking it over with Chelsey, it was decided that Phil would accept the CFO position at the apostolate. His responsibilities grew over the years, and it was a pleasure to see various initiatives blossom, including the popular radio program “Catholic Answers Live.” During 2005, Phil stepped into a part time role at Catholic Answers to begin working with Our Sunday Visitor to develop the materials for the 7 Steps to Becoming Financially Free Group Study and to launch Veritas Financial Ministries. Phil now resides in Temecula, California, with his wife Chelsey and their seven children. Please keep Phil, his family, and the intentions of Veritas Financial Ministries in your daily prayers.

Dr. Gregory Popcak is the Executive Director of the Pastoral Solutions Institute, an organization dedicated to helping Catholics find faith-filled solutions to tough marriage, family, and personal problems. The author of over a dozen popular books integrating solid Catholic theology and counseling psychology (including; For Better...FOREVER!, Holy Sex!, Parenting with Grace, Beyond the Birds and the Bees), Dr. Popcak is an expert on the practical applications of the Theology of the Body. Through the Pastoral Solutions Institute, he directs a group pastoral tele-counseling practice that provides ongoing pastoral psychotherapy services to Catholic couples, individuals and families around the world. Since 2001, he and his wife and co-author, Lisa Popcak, have hosted several nationally-syndicated, call-in radio advice programs including Heart, Mind and Strength (Ave Maria Radio), Fully Alive! (Sirius/XM-The Catholic Channel), and most recently, More2Life (Ave Maria Radio--Airing M-F, Noon-1pm Eastern). They have also hosted two for EWTN (For Better...FOREVER! & God Help Me!). Dr. Popcak's articles appear regularly in Catholic periodicals such as Catholic Digest, Family Foundations, and others. Dr. Greg Popcak and Lisa Popcak are sought after public speakers and trainers and have been honored to address audiences across North America, Australia, and Hong Kong. In addition to his ministry work, Dr. Popcak serves as an Adjunct Professor for both the sociology and graduate theology departments at Franciscan University of Steubenville where he teaches Christianity and Society and Pastoral and Spiritual Direction respectively. He also serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Harold Abel School of Behavioral Health at Capella University where he teaches Epistemology of Practice and Research, Mental Health and Aging, and Grief and Bereavement.
